Origin
Mint from an AI agent or directly from your dashboard.
Every moment starts with you. AI agents connect via MCP tools to mint on your behalf — from Claude, ChatGPT, or any compatible agent. You can also mint directly from the Hekkova dashboard. Both paths feed into the same permanent pipeline.

Content Packaging
Metadata attached — category, timestamp, source provenance.
Before anything is stored or encrypted, your moment is packaged with its full context: category, timestamp, and optional source provenance — over 20 fields tracking where the content came from, who created it, and when. This metadata travels with your moment permanently.

Encryption
Private by default. Lit Protocol encrypts your content.
Your moment's privacy phase determines what happens next. New Moon moments — the default — are encrypted using Lit Protocol with a passphrase. Only you can decrypt them. Full Moon moments skip encryption and remain publicly accessible. Either way, the content is packaged into a self-contained HTML viewer.

IPFS Storage
Your HTML viewer is pinned to IPFS with a unique content address.
The HTML viewer — encrypted or not — is pinned to IPFS via Pinata. This generates a CID (Content Identifier), a permanent address derived from the content itself. If even one byte were different, the CID would be different. Your Light Key is also backed up for recovery.

Filecoin Archival
Cold storage archival — a second layer of permanence.
In parallel with the blockchain mint, your content is archived to Filecoin via Lighthouse — a second, independent storage layer. Filecoin deals are verifiable and self-repairing. This ensures your content persists even if IPFS gateways experience disruption.

Blockchain
An ERC-721 token is minted — your permanent ownership proof.
An ERC-721 NFT is minted on the Polygon blockchain. The token's URI points to your IPFS metadata, and your Block ID is generated. This is where ownership becomes permanent and provable on a public ledger.

Important: the on-chain token contains only your ownership proof and the CID pointing to your content. No titles, descriptions, categories, or personal details are ever written to the blockchain. Your moment's content stays on IPFS, accessible only with your passphrase. This is true for both private and public moments.

The Arc
Your moment appears in your personal timeline.
Your moment is now live in The Arc — your permanent timeline in the Hekkova dashboard. View your content, check your Block ID, monitor Filecoin archival status, manage privacy phases, and export your moments anytime.

Fully Independent
Verify your moments using only public blockchain and IPFS infrastructure.

Your Light ID — emailed when you sign up — is a wallet address on the Polygon blockchain.

That wallet address owns your moment tokens, verifiable on Polygonscan.

Each token contains a tokenURI pointing to IPFS metadata. The token itself holds no personal content — only this pointer.

The IPFS metadata contains your content's permanent CID (Content Identifier).

That CID resolves on any public IPFS gateway to your encrypted HTML viewer.

Your passphrase decrypts the content. The CID is derived from the content itself — if anything were altered, the CID would be different. Ownership and integrity, mathematically guaranteed.

Via Hekkova Dashboard
The simplest way to view and verify your moments.

Open The Arc in your dashboard — every moment displays its Block ID.

That Block ID links directly to the Polygon explorer, confirming on-chain ownership.

The explorer shows your token's tokenURI, which points to your content on IPFS.

Your IPFS content is also archived to Filecoin for redundant cold storage, with status visible in your dashboard.

Export your full moment history anytime as JSON or CSV — your data, portable and independent.

Method 3
Filecoin Verification
Confirm your content exists in permanent cold storage, independent of IPFS gateways.

Each moment's Filecoin CID is displayed in your dashboard alongside the IPFS CID.

That CID maps to one or more Filecoin storage deals, each with a unique deal ID.

Those deals are independently verifiable on a Filecoin deal explorer — no Hekkova needed.

The deal explorer provides PoDSI — Proof of Data Segment Inclusion — confirming your content is sealed on-chain, independent of both Hekkova and IPFS.


Your Keys, Your Proof

When you sign up, we email your Light ID — your permanent blockchain identity. You can also opt in to per-mint emails with each moment's Block ID. Save these. They're your independent proof of ownership, and they work without Hekkova.
